I’m pleased to announce that I will be curating an exhibition in the Dallas/Fort-Worth area in February, Wise Earth: Art & Land in Texas. In collaboration with Earthwise Gardens & Gallery, the exhibition aims to bring sustainability and art together. Further, proceeds from the exhibition will support organic farmers in North Texas.
More from the project’s website: “Earthwise Gallery presents an open call for artists living and working in Texas for an annual group exhibition, Wise Earth: Art & Land in Texas, February 10 – March 3, 2012. Artists working in all disciplines, at any career-stage may apply. The theme—Art & Land in Texas—addresses nature, culture, and food. Earthwise Gallery in collaboration with Earthwise Gardens—an urban farming initiative—brings contemporary art and sustainability together.”
